Illnesses

There are many illnesses that can affect animals. These are
two that are common to dogs and cats.
Sticker Tumor One of the most striking diseases among dogs picked up on our streets is the Sticker's tumor. Has the peculiarity, unlike other tumors, to be transmitted from animal to animal mainly by venereal may also be produced by the licking of the vulva or the simple touch. Although it has been reported worldwide, is prevalent in areas with warm to hot climates. It is most often seen in mixed breeds, with the highest risk population of stray dogs, dogs confined in shelters, breeders, i.e. where the dogs are in great numbers.
The main route of transmission is venereal which happens during an incubation period ranging between 2 and 6 months, after which, there is a little swollen mass, which then grows and invades surrounding tissues. The affected dogs have a common background, are often sexually active dogs, with the possibility to freely leave during part or all day. Males have a swollen penis area, bleeding or bloody losses continuously. In females, flesh becomes visible through the hole in the vulva and, like the males, there is also bleeding.
sangre.
Scabies Scabies is one of the most common ailments suffered by dogs and cats. Its symptoms include hair loss, itching, redness and inflammation.
Depending on the type, it can be contagious to humans. If it is not detected early, it spreads throughout the body. Their treatment is based on type-specific baths and can take from 3 to 6 months to heal. You should also thoroughly disinfect the area where the animal lives.
